What is body waxing?

What type of wax does your salon use?
We use a hypoallergenic, rosin-free hard wax for sensitive areas like the brazilian area, brows, face, and underarms. It is designed to reduce a person's chances of irritation, especially in people with allergies and highly sensitive reactions. It does not contain harmful chemical and allergens. We use roll on soft wax for larger areas like the legs, back, and arms.
How long should my hair be before getting waxed?
Hair must reach a minimum length of 1/4 inch, resembling a grain of rice. To achieve the smoothest results, allow at least 3 weeks after shaving.
How should I prepare for my wax appointment?
Stop shaving 2-3 weeks prior to your appointment, shower, exfoliate 24 hours prior to loosen up the hair from its pores and eliminate dead skin on the skin's surface, wear loose fitting clothes. Avoid alcohol and caffeine before your appointment to reduce discomfort.
Is waxing painful?
The degree of discomfort varies among individuals. Some individuals may experience discomfort, while others may not. Nevertheless, the process is swift and the benefits far surpass any temporary pain or discomfort. Maintaining consistency with waxing and aftercare improves results.
How often should I get waxed?
Achieve smooth, hair-free skin by waxing every 4-6 weeks based on your hair regrowth. For best results, wax every 4 weeks.

What is the recommended after care maintenance?

Can I get waxed while on my menstrual cycle?
Yes, but a tampon is required to be worn during your waxing service. Please note, you are more sensitive when waxed on your menstrual cycle resulting in higher discomfort.
Can I wax while pregnant?
Absolutely, it is usually safe up until you are due. Nonetheless, consulting with your healthcare provider is recommended.
Do you provide waxing services for men?
Yes, we offer full body waxing and brow services. However, men's bikini waxing is not included at this time.
Do you provide full head waxing for the "bald head" look?
Yes, schedule your service as 'Full Head'. Locate this option in the 'Face & Body Wax' drop down menu on the booking site.
Do you provide waxing packages?

What's the difference between a Brazilian wax and a Bikini Full wax?
A Bikini full wax includes everything in front. A Brazilian wax includes everything in the front + a butt strip. Trust me, the butt strip is the EASIEST part.
